GREAT NORTHERN MINERALS ACQUIRES U.S. RARE EARTH PROJECT

Serus Legal has assisted Great Northern Minerals Ltd (ASX: GNM) in its acquisition of the Catalyst Ridge Rare Earth Project in California, USA, following completion of technical, legal, and financial due diligence.

The Catalyst Ridge Project consists of four claim areas covering 214 lode mining claims over an 18-kilometre strike in the Mojave Desert, California. Positioned in a corridor rich in rare earth elements and antimony, the project places GNM at the intersection of US–Australia critical-minerals cooperation and growing supply-chain demand for strategic minerals. The acquisition marks a significant strategic entry into the U.S. critical minerals‐space for GNM.

Serus Legal’s assistance covered the U.S. elements of the transaction, including corporate and mining due diligence, review of U.S. entities, mining claims and parcels, and advice on U.S. regulatory and mining law matters.

Working in close coordination with GNM’s Australian counsel, Nova Legal (Perth), as transaction lead, Serus Legal ensured seamless execution of the U.S. aspects, positioning the project for next phase exploration and development.

Looking ahead, GNM plans to advance exploration at Catalyst Ridge, with initial sampling and field programs expected imminently, part of its broader strategy of securing strategically located critical-mineral assets.
