GREAT NORTHERN MINERALS SECURES OPTION OVER NEVADA GOLD-SILVER PROJECT

Serus Legal has assisted Great Northern Minerals Ltd (ASX: GNM) in connection with its lease and option over the Iron Butte Gold-Silver Project in Nevada, USA. GNM has since announced a maiden JORC Mineral Resource for Iron Butte, confirming the scale and development potential of this project.

The Iron Butte Project is a large, emerging gold-silver asset in Nevada's prolific Battle Mountain Mining District, with a recently announced maiden JORC Inferred Mineral Resource of approximately 480,000 ounces of gold and 11.5 million ounces of silver, highlighting the scale and potential of the project.

The project benefits from significant near-surface mineralization and silver component. With the deposit open in multiple directions and supported by high-grade drilling highlighting additional upside potential at depth, Iron Butte places GNM in the heart of one of America's most productive gold districts. The project represents a key step in building a U.S. asset base as GNM advances toward development and production.

Serus Legal's assistance covered the U.S. elements of the transaction, including negotiation and preparation of the key lease and option documentation, advising on royalty arrangements, mining claim issues and post-signing title matters including the inclusion of additional mining claims.

Following announcement of its maiden JORC Mineral Resource, GNM is now advancing Iron Butte toward its next phase of exploration, with geophysical reinterpretation well advanced and a maiden drilling program scheduled for Q3 2026 aimed at expanding the resource base.
