OVOCA COMPLETES MOROCCO ACQUISITION

Serus Legal acted as Moroccan counsel on the legal work supporting Ovoca Bio plc’s reverse takeover of Tadeen International Limited, a transaction that resulted in the enlarged group being renamed Talisman Metals plc and repositioned as a copper exploration company focused on Morocco.

The transaction constituted a reverse takeover under the AIM Rules, marking Ovoca’s strategic transition from biotechnology into the natural resources sector. Through the acquisition, the group gained exposure to a Moroccan copper portfolio held by Moroccan company Horizons Mines SARL, comprising multiple exploration permits across the Tizert and Argana project areas.

Serus Legal led the Moroccan workstream, providing in‑country legal coordination, mining title analysis, and regulatory support in connection with the AIM and London Stock Exchange requirements. The successful completion of the transaction and re‑admission to AIM positions Talisman Metals to advance its Moroccan copper strategy.
