Stronghold Global Finance has signed a Framework Agreement with the Egyptian African Arab Development company (EGAAD) for the development of projects across Africa.
Serus Legal assisted with all stages of the preparation and signing of this landmark Agreement, under which Stronghold Global Finance and EGAAD will partner in financing and developing projects in markets across Africa.

The opportunities will include joint ventures and equity participations in natural resources, transportation, and digital infrastructure projects. Where agreed, Stronghold Global Finance’s affiliates will be engaged for project development and investment banking services. The Agreement promotes access for international investors to African markets, allowing for the procurement and development of the next generation of large-scale projects.
Stronghold Global Finance is an international investment house and economic development platform headquartered in London. Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and as an appointed representative of G10 Capital, Stronghold Global Finance services sponsors, states, and government institutions, facilitating them in funding and realizing their economic development plans, in doing so, closing the foreign direct investment gap.
EGAAD is a consortium of prominent business groups which develops and invests in Africa, through partnerships with African governments and the private sector. Based in Egypt, and targeting various sectors (including mining, infrastructure, commodity trading, and energy) EGAAD is already exploring and working on several high-profile opportunities, including with governments in Senegal, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Burundi.
Tohib Iyiola, CEO of Stronghold Global Finance, commented: “In partnership with EGAAD, this Agreement grants Stronghold Global Finance access to important markets, enabling us to play an important part in the development of Africa. The support provided by Serus was a great asset to the transaction. With this Agreement now in place, the Serus team will play an important role in supporting the projects we finance and develop across the African continent.“
Peter Finan, Managing Partner of Serus Legal, said: “Stronghold Global Finance is a long-term client of our firm, and this was a great transaction to work on. The signing of the Agreement marks an important milestone for all involved, and we are very pleased to have played a part in facilitating such a positive outcome, paving the way for development finance across Africa.”
Stronghold Global Finance is supported on these ventures by the Serus Legal team, including Peter Finan and Ted Amley (New York).
